This artwork portrays the Biblical narrative found in John 1, where John the Baptist identifies Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The artist's interpretation highlights the powerful statement. 

The presence of the sheep in the artwork symbolizes the animal sacrifices performed by the Jews in their worship as a means of atoning for their sins. These sacrifices were an integral part of Jewish religious practice. 

The silhouette images positioned in the background represent the countless generations of Jewish worshipers throughout history. They serve as a visual representation of the continuity and rich heritage of Jewish worship. 

The image on the right depicts Christ, the central figure of the artwork. In this artistic series, the artist has chosen to portray Jesus in an afrocentric fashion, con temporizing the traditional depiction of Christ. By doing so, the artist seeks to make the narrative of Jesus Christ relevant and engaging to a broader audience.
