Since my childhood, art has been my lifelong passion and the primary way I express my convictions. As a black artist based in Dallas, Texas, I take immense pride in my culture and feel incredibly grateful for the gift of creativity and the ability to create. My artistic repertoire encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from biblical art to abstract expressions. I set forth to challenge stereotypes, provoke thought, and to inspire.

In this piece, titled, "Homage to Black Townships Destroyed By Racial Violence." the artist is setting forth to honor and recognize those towns in this country that were destroyed due to racism. There were towns that have for the most part gone unheard of and unrecognized in the conscousness of the American society. These are towns and places that are not mentioned nor taught about in the education of American children.
