As a black artist based in Dallas, Texas, I take immense pride in my culture and feel incredibly grateful for the gift of creativity and the ability to create. "Noah" depicts the tumultuous event of God's flood, capturing not only the deluge itself but also God's promise of restoration. The artist's intention is to highlight the stark contrast between God's judgment and His grace. Showcasing His righteous vindication alongside His astounding mercy. In the artwork, Noah courageously stands at the front of the ark, facing the elements, while above him, a dove carries an olive branch, symbolizing the receding of the floodwaters.
