My animal series is done in the spirit of the Fauvism art movement at the beginning of the 20th century. This movement included noted artist such as Henri Matisse and Georges Rouault. This style incorporates the use of flat shapes, bold and obitrary colors. Expressive lines and patterns are used to further enhance the surface and energize the composition.
