Jacob and the Ladder, depicts Jacob asleep and  seeing a ladder reaching from heaven down to earth, with angels traveling upon it back and forth.
This piece captures the activities of heaven while still maintaining an earthly view. On the left of Jacob is an angel and on his right is a demon. Each desiring to serve their purpose to assist or hinder the vision.
As in all my Biblical Series,  I have depicted Jacob in an ethnic fashion wearing braids.
