This piece is my interpretation of the Crucifixion of Christ. Instead of showing the usual image of Jesus's hands nailed to the crosss, I chose to remove the wooden cross, and instead place behind his nailed driven hand an ornate design which speaks to the glorious magnificene of Christ death on the cross towards humanity.
